When the merchant Carl Joacim Hambro from Bergen settled here in 1851, he placed the mansion on the most beautiful plot of land. The main house is located on a hill, just behind the bottom of Fotlandsvågen. Here lived the gentry and tenants. It was a large household and many guests from the city. Compared to the poor peasant houses, where the menu was graut, herring and potatoes, this was probably to be seen as a castle.

This beautiful mansion is today decorated with six cozy hotel rooms + suite, all of which have their own color and are decorated in a peasant romantic style. On the 2nd floor you will find the bridal suite. Here there is room to both practice the bridal waltz and have your special meal served.

Welcome to a wonderful atmosphere with style, atmosphere, good food and drink. A personal and homely hotel experience.

Number of rooms: 6 double rooms + suite
