If you are looking for an experience that is unique, that you are a part of and completely out of the ordinary, then the "adventure" to, on and in Laksagiljo may be the one for you.

Fishing from salmon gillnets has a long tradition in the Osterfjord, but today the gillnets stand as beautiful reminders of the men who "sat after the salmon" and lit their necessary crowns for the family. This was a method of catching salmon and trout, and Vossol salmon was both sought-after and tasty. Both for the Lordane who fished in the Vosso river and for the farmer who fished with his seine net in the fjord.

The trip with Bygdasjarm takes about 2 hours. Along the way, you get to taste locally produced smoked salmon of very high quality.

When we meet, we have a quick chat before embarking on the experience itself, which involves a small stage along a beautiful road built by hand, down to the salmon gill and then all the way down to the net house. All the way we are in interaction with the beautiful surroundings.
