Farm or cottage visit
Osterøy is the cheese island. Historically, cheese has been made from goat's milk for generations. The hotel collaborates with Berit and Lars on a visit and tour of Osterøy Ysteri/ Kløppena gard. They raise goats and old Norwegian sheep.
In the summer, the goats are in the mountains and a trip to the farmhouse can be arranged, with light refreshments served. There are tastings and a farm shop.
